Professor Rathore is an expert in the field of Accounting and Finance, and has a teaching experience of over 44 years.

She has had adorned the office of Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi (equivalent to Pro – Vice-Chancellor rank). Prior to holding this, she has worked in the following capacities:

·         Joint Director, South Campus, University of Delhi from June 2000 to September 2005.

·         Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Business, University of Delhi.

·         Head, Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi.

·         Recently she has held the position of Chairperson of the Committee to Oversee the Utilization of Funds from the UGC (University Grants Commission) for Expansion under the OBC (other backward classes) reservation, University of Delhi.  

·         Advisor, Institute of Life Long Learning, University of Delhi.

·         President, Indian Accounting Association.

·         Visiting Fellow at the Maison des Sciences del’ Homme Paris Under the Indo-French Cultural Exchange Programme during September-October, 2000.

·         Was honoured in 2002 by the Indian Accounting Association for distinguished services to the field of Accounting.
