At the Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research (DSPSR), we provide our students with three of the most sought-after programs in the country: BBA, BCA, and B.Com. (Hons.)

BBA Programme

Overview

The four-year BBA is a professional course affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The programme is divided into 8 semesters, each semester comprising of Theory and Practical subjects. Each semester shall be for a duration of 21 weeks divided into: -

  • 15 weeks of teaching
  • 1 week of preparatory leave
  • Almost 5 weeks of semester end examination (including practicals)
Total Intake 140 Students
Admission Criteria Based on qualification in IPU CET or CUET.
Other Eligibility Criteria

The students must have an aggregate of minimum 50% marks in the 12th class examination (CBSE or equivalent). Aggregate implies the percentage of best 4 subjects inclusive of English. Any student with compartment will be eligible for admission only after passing that particular subject, otherwise his/her admission stands withdrawn.

Programme Outcomes

BBA programme has been designed to prepare graduates for attaining the following specific outcomes:

  • Exhibit understanding of broad business concepts and principles.
  • To identify and define business & economic problems and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify a business problem, isolate its key components, analyze and assess the salient issues, set appropriate criteria for decision making, and draw appropriate conclusions and implications for proposed solutions.
  • Effectively communicate business issues, management concepts, plans and decisions both in oral and written form using appropriate supportive technologies.
  • Possess strong foundation for their higher studies.
  • Blend analytical, logical and managerial skills with the technical aspects to resolve real world issues.
  • To develop Leadership & team building skills.

BCA Programme

Overview

The four-year BCA is a professional course affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The programme is divided into 8 semesters, each semester comprising of Theory and Practical subjects. Each semester shall be for a duration of 21 weeks divided into: -

  • 15 weeks of teaching
  • 1 week of preparatory leave
  • Almost 5 weeks of semester end examination (including practicals)
Total Intake 100 Students
Admission Criteria Based on qualification in IPU CET or CUET.

  • Effectively communicate technical information, ideas, and solutions in both oral and written form using appropriate digital tools.
  • Develop the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adapt to emerging technologies and demonstrate readiness for continuous learning in the field of computer applications.
  • Exhibit professional ethics, cyber ethics, and social responsibility in computing practices.
  • Possess a strong foundation for higher studies and research in computer science, IT, and related fields.
  • Integrate technical knowledge with problem-solving and decision-making skills to contribute effectively in the IT industry.

B.Com. (Hons.) Programme

Overview

The four-year B.Com. (Hons.) is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The programme is divided into 8 semesters, each semester comprising of Theory and Practical subjects. Each semester shall be for a duration of 21 weeks divided into: -

  • 15 weeks of teaching
  • 1 week of preparatory leave
  • Almost 5 weeks of semester end examination (including practicals)
Total Intake 53 Students
Admission Criteria Based on qualification in IPU CET or CUET.
Other Eligibility Criteria

The students must have an aggregate of 50% marks in the 12th class examination (CBSE or equivalent). Aggregate implies the percentage of best 5 subjects (one language and four elective subjects). Any student with compartment will be eligible for admission only after passing that particular subject, otherwise his/her admission stands withdrawn.

The students will gain thorough systematic and subject skills within various disciplines of commerce, business, accounting, economics, finance, auditing and marketing.
